Youth-in-Preservation and Volunteers
Our focus is YIP-Build and the National Park Service standards of rehabilitation and
learning-by-doing.
Also, (YIP) activities offer knowledge of basic construction and skills acquisition and summer-time learning and growth for youth.
Historic preservation services offer youth ops and experiential learning about heritage architecture and period styles.
(YIP) offers exposure of the trades&building industry and challenges of working outdoors during the many seasons of the year.
Service learning within historic neighborhoods is a value-added benefit and offers many rewards relating to career-pathing ops.
IRDMatrix organization welcomes volunteers-in-preservation, building and trades craftsmen and retirees as partners-in-partnership.
(VIP)s can make a difference by working with today's youth and emerging workforce in the areas of rehabilitation and standards.
IRDMatix seeks (VIP)s within the community and the community-at-large whom wish to make a difference and set worthy examples.
Arm-chair architects eager with personal enthusiasm of tearing-down and building-up and hands-on-dirt, please join-in.
Help us tell our story and submit a name of a youth with interest about preservation and service learning.
